Nature: Birds
Images from a photography enthusiast based in Oslo
As was the case for last week's post with animals, this week I am posting images of birds that have been collecting in a "Miscellaneous Birds" folder over the past two years.
These were shot either in my Oslo neighborhood, around Norway, or on some European travels. Beware. There are many shots of gulls. You have been warned.
Have a look-see and thanks very much for your visit!
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you will be back next time.
(Pssst: It is clear I am not a bird photographer, but I hope the fact that I am a bird lover comes through in these shots. I included a pretty poor photo of a dipper — it was small, far away, on a shaded river late in the day, and I had a 40mm prime on my camera — BUT because it is the national bird of Norway, I felt compelled to share. I mean, they are pretty cute birds. I have only seen a dipper a few times — a couple of times fishing in our own neighborhood river, luckily! What are some of your favorite birds? I have way too many to list…)

Amazing collection my friend! The rooster is perfect!
In my early 20s I used to poke fun at the older bird watchers. It didn't take long for me to be wandering around with a bird song identifier app on my phone and bemoaning when I forgot to pack binoculars. Love all these photos, and thank you for alerting me to the national bird of Norway!
