Thanks for your visit and comment! Yeah, the Oslo Tree looks pretty fab at night with its colorful light show. I was happy to have had my camera one time when we happened to be in the city center one dark evening. 😊🌳
Spring is just about to be upon us, so this should be a great time to visit (keep an eye out for the Apple and cherry trees blooming). Which general location are you staying? Don’t miss the waterfront, from the Rådhuset westward by asker Brygge and over through Tjuvjolmen by the Astrup Fearnley Musem and over to Filipstad Kai. Also on the water is Akershus Festning, walk into and up for a view from ramparts over the harbor, walk around the Bjørvika neighborhood, by Munch Museum and then by (and up on, and even in) the Opera and take the floating bridge over to Sørenga Kai. Check out Munch and the new National Museum (also Astrup Fearnley, there is a tiny sculpture area outside for free) if you dig art. There’s Ekebergparken, also with a large sculpture park and then views over the city if you like art. You can walk along Akerselva (near Kuba Patk and north). There’s the Slott and Slottsparken (for flowering trees). And more (but have to run so I’ll stop here). Where will you be and how long? Hope it’s a good visit. 😀
First of all, thank you so much for your detailed message. I was there only for a weekend visiting some friends, but I did visit the Opera and also took National Museum. Really nice views! I might share some pictures soon :). Thank you again and sorry for the delayed response!!
Hi, no problem! Glad you had a nice weekend with your friends and the chance to see the Opera and National Museum. Looking forward to any images you post from your trip. 😃

Thank you! And happy to hear which was your fav (it’s a cool, retro-looking shop). 😃
All beautiful photos, I think the donut shop is my favorite!
Looking great!
Thanks so much!
Going to Oslo soon. Any spots I shouldn't miss? Some nice exhibitions going on?
