Really love these dark blue skies against the yellow and the red barns. I have been suggested so much B&W photos on substack lately, wich is not really my taste. This is so refreshing, wondeful colours!

Thank you!! For me, much of the magic in walking in or driving along the Norwegian countryside comes from the colors! I enjoy dabbling in BnW for some things but def not for these scenes. 😉 Under a partly cloudy sky, the colors really pop. I’m so happy you liked this set. 😃

These have such a warm, inviting tone! What beautiful country. Oh the places I want to go. But at least I can enjoy them vicariously here!

Many thanks!! I have to agree that Norway has such beauty, it’s easy to take nice pics. And one doesn’t have to go where all the tourists go to enjoy it either. 😃😉 I hope you get here someday. So glad you enjoyed the set. 🙏

These shots speak to me because this is what it's like growing up in rural Iowa. You only access these intimate scenes when you know someone with a farm, and I never quite appreciated it at the time. I certainly couldn't have captured it at the time either 😂 Love this set!

I’m so glad these scenes were a nice reminder of “home” to you. I’ve never been to Iowa myself but I’m now intrigued. Norway has such beautiful nature (mountains, fjords, etc) but I’ve always thought their farmland (whether rolling like these scenes or those mountain farms high over the fjords) is just as spectacular. Under a cloudy sky, the colors, to me, just shine through. Thanks very much for your words.

A wonderful series of images, KewtieBird. However, the pigs, especially the first image, are the stars of the show.

These are all wonderful. I spent a lot of time climbing in trees as a boy. There was just something about the view from up there with the birds. A couple of friends had free standing tree houses. Small cabins on stilts in their backyards. These are wonderful rural views. Love those pigs. Hope you are feeling better.

Really nice colours in these photos - especially that first image. I like how you captured the sky with the clouds and that wedge of blue on the right side of the photo.

That is quite the treehouse and looks impressive. Really beautiful places and thank you for sharing.

Love it. So Norway. I am particularly drawn to all the pigs lining up for their family photograph! Like the world leaders at the G7. Cute!

Thanks! And those pigs: glad you enjoyed. They make me smile every time I look again at a shot of them. I laughed out loud the day they were gamboling over to greet me.
